Three Chickadees

I was really excited about this commission. It came from a collector. She had purchased many of my bird prints and wanted an original as a Christmas gift. She decided that having three chickadees on a branch would be perfect for her original washi tape artwork. We agreed on a 5”x7” completed size artwork for the commission. I luckily have many chickadees visit my BirdFly feeder and was able to gain many different images for reference. You can see these little chickadees have personalities. The entire artwork is 100% washi tape. They have golden washi tape that sparkles when the light hits the image. My collector had the artwork framed with a red mat matching the branch's berries. So cute!
